History

Founded by Frank Capizzi and his oldest son Anthony in 2000, American Euro Foods started importing balsamic vinegar. Using his knowledge in the food industry from his 18 years as Vice President and co-owner of Quality Food Oils, Frank directed American Euro Foods’ attention to supplying the private label market and later expanded into olive oil. Importing bulk and packaged products for packaging companies and supermarkets, American Euro Foods continued to grow. In 2003, Frank's youngest son Thomas joined the company, completing the emergence of the fourth generation to work in the food industry.

Sadly, in March of 2004, Frank lost his battle with cancer. Never forgetting  the  lessons and knowledge their Father instilled to them, Anthony and Thomas Capizzi continued to grow the company. Today, driven by their passion to supply the food industry with quality products, the Capizzi brothers have continued to turn American Euro Foods into a top supplier and importer for private label brands and food broker for bulk cooking oils, olive oils and domestic vinegars.
